Registration desk

The registration table will be situated in the vicinity of the hotel front desk. It will be manned on Thursday 7 May 2015 from 18:30 to 19:30. We will also try to be there as much as possible after dinner and from 08:00 on Friday 8 May 2015. Thereafter, registration will be possible during coffee breaks.

No registration fee has to be paid, but participants have to cover their meals and lodging (see the conference packages below.

People who want to participate in the excursion to Ven, however, have to pay a fee of SEK 500,- in addition to the accommodation and meals costs covered by the conference packages in cash upon arrival. This applies also to accompanying persons who take part in the excursion which they are welcome to do .

Participation

The meeting is open to all interested scientists and students, who are cordially invited to participate. Conference organisers, however, reserve the right to refuse registration to participants. Invitations for visa applications will only be issued to invited speakers.

Conference packages

We offer a conference package (see price list below) for accommodation and meals. This package includes:

• accommodation in single and double room according to your choice for the nights from 7 to 10 May 2013
• buffet breakfast every day from 8 to 10 May
• light dinner on 7 May 2015
• all lunches, coffee breaks and dinners on 8th and 9th May 2015
• morning coffee break and lunch on 10 May 2015
• free Wifi in the hotel
• conference material

The following conference package fees apply:

Conference packages
Accommodation in single room + meals	SEK 5208,-
Accommodation in shared double room + meals	SEK 4449,-
Accommodation in hostel-style shared double room + meals	SEK 3099,-
Meals for conference participants staying outside (lunches and coffee breaks plus conference dinner at 9th May)	SEK 2039,-
Supplement for accompanying person sharing room with participant (participant paying single room conference package) including dinners on 9th and 10th May and breakfasts from 8th to 10th May.	SEK 1595,-

The number of hostel-style rooms (simpler style, shared toilets and showers) is limited and will be preferentially allocated to students and scientists from less-favoured countries.

Payment of the conference package is due at check-out. People who stay outside the conference centre and only book the lunches and coffee breaks conference dinner should settle their bills NO LATER than 9th May. Major credit cards are accepted. No advance payment or deposit is required.

No registration fees apply, but in addition to the accommodation and meals costs covered by the conference packages. Participants and accompanying persons who want to take part in the excursion to Ven have to pay the following fee in cash upon arrival:

The excursion fee includes:

• Bus transfer from Höör to Landskrona harbour
• Return boat trip on the island of Ven
• Sightseeing tour by bus on Ven
• Entrance fee to the museum at Ven and all other sights visited
• Coffee and cake at the museum cafeteria

If you leave earlier or come later please mark so at the registration form. The venue will then send you a quotation for your accommodation and meals.

PLEASE NOTE: Accommodation at the conference centre is limited, so early booking is requested. In case of a full booked conference centre, we can offer you alternative accommodation in Lund or at a place close to the conference centre (Frostavallen). Shuttle buses to and from Frostavallen will be provided free of charge for conference guests.

Registration procedures

To register for the meeting, please do the following:

1. Fill in the registration form (to be downloaded here).

2. Send the completed registration forms per e-mail attachment to [email protected], AND TO [email protected] mentioning "Origin of Life 2015" in the message title. This constitutes the reservation and you should obtain a confirmation of the venue in due course.

3. If you take part in the excursion, pay the excursion fee (SEK 500,-) in cash upon arrival.

4. Payment of the conference package (accommodation and meals) is due at check-out. You will get a receipt from the hotel.

The deadline for registration and accommodation booking is 31 March 2015. Thereafter neither accommodation nor the quoted conference package prices can be guaranteed.

PLEASE NOTE: Sending in the registration form implies a hotel booking. Thus, in the case of cancellation after 31 March, cancellation fees might apply.

Payment

The conference package (meals and accommodation) has to be paid to the hotel at the check-out. Common credit cards are accepted for this. It might be a good idea to settle the payment on the day before departure. No advance payment before the arrival at conference is necessary.Payment of the excursion fee (SEK 500,- for those who participate) is due in cash upon arrival.
