Scientific programme
The meeting will start on 8th May 2015 in the morning and finish on 10th May 2015 at lunchtime. The detailed programme of the meeting is available here.

Contributed talks
A number of contributed talks will be selected from the submitted abstracts by the conference organisers. They will be 20 minutes long.


Poster session
In the evening of May 8th we will organise a poster session. Presenters submitting abstracts that are not selected for oral presentations will be allowed to present a poster. The poster session will be held in the church (Frihetskapellet) and drinks and nibbles will be served. Poster dimensions are 150 cm height and 90 cm width, so DIN A0 in portrait format should be OK.


Social programme

On Saturday 9 May 2015 we offer an interesting tour to the to the island of Ven, site of Tycho Brahes observatory "Uraniborg". We will take a us through the hilly landscape of Skåne to Landskrona harbour. There we board the boat over the Öresund to the island ov Ven enjoying views over the Swedish and Danish coast. At Bäckviken harbour we are picked up by the bus and visit the old and beautifully restored St. Ibbs church. Thereafter we take a ride to Tycho Brahe's museum where we will have a guided tour. After a coffee break at the cosy cafeteria (including some Ven specialities) and some free time we return to Bäckviken harbour and go back by bus to Höör in time for the conference dinner.

The excursion fee of SEK 500,- (which has to be paid in cash upon arrival by those who want to join the excursion) includes the folllowing:

  • Bus transfer from Höör to Landskrona harbour
  • Return boat trip on the island of Ven
  • Sightseeing tour by bus on Ven
  • Entrance fee to the museum at Ven and all other sights visited
  • Coffee and cake at the museum cafeteria


Participation in the excursion is NOT compulsory. For participants of the summer course in Ven (who know the island already) we will offer a trip to Lund as alternative.
