Scientific programme The meeting starts on Tuesday 20th of May 2014 in the morning and ends on Thursday 22th in the evening. Participants are thus advised to arrive on Monday 19th and leave on Friday 23rd. The scientific programme consists of introductory lectures,invited lectures, oral contributions selected from the abstracts and a poster session.Introductory lectures will be 25 minutes long (+10 minutes for discussion). Invited lectures have a length of 20 minutes and oral contributions selected from the abstract one of 15 minutes. Poster session Two poster sessions with a tapas dinner will be held on 20th and 21st of May at Egget Auditorium. Poster boards are 1,4 m in height and 1 m in width. A0 in portrait format works, but please do not attempt to bring any A0 posters in landscape format. We have many posters and no extra space. Social programme On 22nd May a geological walk around Bergen followed by a stroll through the historic Bryggen museum will be organised for the conference participants. Thereafter the conference dinner will be held on the Fløyen restaurant. The dinner, the trip with the Fløyen cable car as well as the walks are included in the conference fee. Bergen and the Norwegian Fjordland also offer a lot of interesting sights for accompanying persons. |
