Lectures will be held in the "Karlskronasalen". The lecture room is equipped with a PowerPoint projector, audio equipment (with hearing aid). If speakers need someother technical devices, they should contact the organisers in good time.

Lunches and dinners will be served in the restaurant of the venue. There are 2 dining rooms.

Rooms have free Wi-Fi internet connection. They are well equipped with TV and wireless internet. The en-suite rooms are fitted with private bathrooms. There is a limited number of cheaper hostel-style rooms with shared toilets and showers (linen included). The entire hotel is non-smoking and all rooms and facilities are accessible for disabled people.

Access by air

Via Copenhagen Kastrup Airport (CPH)
For most international travellers it is best to go to Copenhagen Kastrup airport (airport code CPH). Many international airlines have cheap direct flights there. Copenhagen Airport has an own railway station. From there you can take direct trains to Höör station. They operate every hour during daytime and the journey takes only 50 minutes.

For schedules of the trains check the excellent web site of the German Railways (in 6 languages) or the Danish State Railways or Swedish State Railways. Please note that you have to buy your ticket in advance. Boarding the train without a valid ticket is regarded as fare-dodging in Denmark and in some trains in Sweden. There are vending machines and ticket booths at the airport station in Kastrup.

Arriving in Höör take the railway station exit to the left of the train direction (northwestside). Walk in the opposite direction of the train direction along "Bangårdsgatan" for 150 metres. Turn right, keeping a small lake to the left. After 100m fork off right into "Åkersbergsgatan". After 150m you will see the venue on the left.

Via Malmö Sturup Airport (MMX)
This fairly small airport might be a good choice for conference guests from Sweden or those flying in via Stockholm. From Sturup Airport it is best to take the airport buses to Lund Central Railway station. Timetables and tickets are availableat the Swedish Airport Buses website. Tickets can be bought on-line on this site, from the driver and from the self-service ticket machines or at 7-Eleven and Pressbyrån at Malmö Airport. From Lund Central Railway station you can take direct trains to Höör station. They operate very frequently and the journey takes only 20 minutes. For schedules of the trains check the excellent web site of the German Railways (in 6 languages) or the one of Swedish State Railways. At the latter, you can buy tickets also. Please note that you should carry an identity document when you board a Swedish train (tickets often are personal and not transferrable).

Access by train

There are frequent fast trains (Öresundståg) between from Copenhagen to Stockholm and Gööteborg, most of them stop at Höör. For schedules of the trains check the excellent web site of the German Railways (in 6 languages) or the one of Swedish State Railways.

Turn right, keeping a small lake to the left. After 100 m fork off right into Åkersbergsgatan". After 150m you will see the venue on the left.

Access by own car

From the North-East (Stockholm)
Take the E4 towards Helsingborg. At exit 74 (near Markaryd) turn left onto 117 in the direction of Hässleholm. After 33 km (just before reaching Hässleholm) turn left on Road 21 in the direction of Malmö. After 5 km turn right at "Trafikplats Läreda" onto Road 23 in the direction of Malmö. After 31 km you reach Höör, stay on Road 23 until you reach the intersection with Road 13 at a large roundabout. There turn right onto Road 13 ("Frostavallsvägen") After 1.5 km (700m after the railway crossing). Turn sharp left onto "Åkersbergsgåtan. The venue is after 600 m on your right.

From the South (Copenhagen)
Take the Öresund Bridge (Toll road !) and follow the E20 around Malmö. At Intersection 18 take E22 in the direction Kalmar. After 31 km fork off left onto Road 23 towards Växjö/Hässleholm/Höör. After 15 km you reach Höör, stay on Road 23 until you reach the intersection with Road 13 at a large roundabout. There turn left onto Road 13 ("Frostavallsvägen") After 1.5 km (700m after the railway crossing). Turn sharp left onto "Åkersbergsgatan" lane. The venue is after 600m on your right.

From the North (Norway, Göteborg)
Take the E6 towards Malmö. At intersection 35 "Trafikplats Rebbelberga" turn left onto Road 13 (direction Höör). Stay on that road until you reach Höör after 65 km. Just when you reach the town after a long right bend, turn right onto "Åkersbergsgatan". The venue is after 600m on your right.

Parking is available near the venue.
