Registration

Please fill in the registration form and send it per e-mail attachment to david.duner@kultur.lu.se, AND TO info@akersberg.se mentioning "Origin of Life 2022" in the message title. This constitutes the reservation and you should obtain a confirmation of the venue in due course.

Registration deadline is 1 May 2022.

Registration desk

The registration table will be situated in the vicinity of the hotel front desk. It will be manned on Thursday 2 June 2022 from 18:30 to 19:30. We will also try to be there as much as possible after dinner and from 08:00 on Friday 3 June 2022. Thereafter, registration will be possible during coffee breaks.

No registration fee has to be paid, but participants have to cover their meals and lodging (see the conference packages below.

Participation

The meeting is open to all interested scientists and students, who are cordially invited to participate. Conference organisers, however, reserve the right to refuse registration to participants. Invitations for visa applications will only be issued to invited speakers.

Conference packages

We offer a conference package (see price list below) for accommodation and meals. This package includes:

• accommodation in single and double room according to your choice for the nights from 2 to 4 June 2022
• buffet breakfast every day from 3 to 5 June
• light dinner on 2 June 2022
• all lunches, coffee breaks and dinners on 3rd and 4th JUne 2022
• breakfast on 4 June
• free Wifi in the hotel
• conference material

The following conference package fees apply:

Conference packages
Accommodation in single room + meals	SEK 6356,-
Accommodation in shared double room + meals	SEK 5264,-
Day guests (lunches, coffee breaks, registration and material for 2 days)	SEK 1376,-

Payment of the conference package is due at check-out. People who stay outside the conference centre and only book the lunches and coffee breaks conference dinner should settle their bills NO LATER than 4th Juner. Major credit cards are accepted. No advance payment or deposit is required.

Participants and accompanying persons who want to take part in the excursion to Stevns Klint on June 2nd have to pay the following fee (instructions will follow)

The excursion fee includes:

• Pick.up at the venue of the summer school "Life on Earth and Beyond" on Ven Island or at Copenhagen airport

• Bus shuttle from the conference venue to Ven harbour (in case of pick-up on Ven)
• Ferry from Ven harbour to Landskrona (in case of pick-up on Ven)
• Bus tour from Landskrona r Copenhagen to Rødvig and Stevns Klint and drop-off at Åkersberg stiftsgård(
• Lunch at the traditional Danish restaurant Rødvig Kro (probably buffet)
• 1 microbrewery beer or home made apple juice in addition to table water at lunch
• Visit of Rødvig cliff and Stevns klint cliff and the famous Højerup church
• Entrance and guided tour at Stevns Klint museum
• Coffee break with cakes

If you leave earlier or come later please mark so at the registration form. The venue will then send you a quotation for your accommodation and meals.

PLEASE NOTE: Accommodation at the conference centre is limited, so early booking is requested.

Registration procedures

To register for the meeting, please do the following:

1. Fill in the registration form (to be downloaded here).

2. Send the completed registration form per e-mail attachment to david.duner@kultur.lu.se, AND TO info@akersberg.se mentioning "Origin of Life 2022" in the message title. This constitutes the reservation and you should obtain a confirmation of the venue in due course.

3. Pay the fee for the excursion via PayPal to the European Science Foundation (instructions will follow)

4. Payment of the conference package (accommodation and meals) is due at check-out. You will get a receipt from the hotel.

The deadline for registration and accommodation booking is 1 May 2022. Thereafter neither accommodation nor the quoted conference package prices can be guaranteed.

PLEASE NOTE: Sending in the registration form implies a hotel booking. Thus, in the case of cancellation after 1 May, cancellation fees might apply.

Payment

The conference package (meals and accommodation) has to be paid to the hotel at the check-out. Common credit cards are accepted for this. It might be a good idea to settle the payment on the day before departure. No advance payment before the arrival at conference is necessary.
